作品介绍

《情绪倾倒》将茶杯、杯碟与金属链置于一片高度集中的黑暗之中。链条仿佛从杯中流向杯碟，使原本无形的情绪交换获得了具体的重量。人与人之间通过言语、关怀、抱怨或倾诉所传递的内容，在这里成为从一个容器转移至另一个容器的可见负担。

杯与碟通常作为一组相互配合的器物存在，但作品中的关系并不对等：一方释放，另一方接收，并逐渐被它所承担的内容所定义。在连续的画面中，两者之间的距离不断变化，物体时而显现、时而隐入黑暗，使倾倒持续发生，却没有明确责任最终由谁承担。

作品将情绪表达视为一种关系中的交换：一个人的释放，可能成为另一个人的劳动。它追问分享何时转化为倾倒，倾听何时成为容纳，以及关怀如何才能在不要求某一方承受一切的情况下继续存在。

Statement

Emotional Dumping stages a cup, a saucer and a metal chain within a concentrated field of darkness. The chain appears to pour from the cup towards the saucer, giving an immaterial exchange physical weight. What might ordinarily pass between people as speech, care, complaint or confession becomes a visible burden transferred from one vessel to another.

A cup and saucer usually function as a pair, but their relationship here is uneven. One releases while the other receives and becomes defined by what it is required to hold. Across the sequence, their distance changes and the objects move in and out of visibility, extending the act of transfer without resolving responsibility.

The work considers emotional expression as a relational exchange: relief for one person may become labour for another. It asks when sharing becomes unloading, when listening becomes containment, and how care might continue without requiring one side to absorb everything.
